We sell finished bridal hairpieces for wedding days, portraits, and other formal occasions. We do not make wedding gowns, and we do not sell veils as our main category. The work on this site is the piece that sits at the crown of the head.

Kilgore Halo is that circle of light.
In the language of the American bride, a halo is a real thing: a ring of pearls, a slender crown, a piece that sits where the hair gathers and quietly holds the face. It is also an older word—the faint brightness that seems to live just above the brow. We make both.
Kilgore is a surname. It belongs to Emma Kilgore. It does not sound invented for a storefront. We want the work to feel the same way: metal with weight, pearls with warmth, crystal that does not flood a room, but catches once—in chapel light, in a garden at noon, on a lawn at dusk.
Every crown and headpiece answers one question:
When the wind drops, when she lifts her face again—
is the light still there, and does it still look like her?
We do not costume a bride.
We add only what the day requires.
It may be a fine crown set at the highest point of an updo.

We do not operate a walk-in bridal salon at this time. The Ford City address is our business address for correspondence and company records.
